Support the mission and ministry of Our Redeemer
Christian giving begins with the gospel, not with need or obligation. “We love because he first loved us” (1 John 4:19), and we give for the same reason. Stewardship is simply the grateful management of what God has entrusted to us — and it touches our time, our abilities, and our income alike.
When the apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians about giving, he did not appeal to guilt. He invited them to “excel in this act of grace” (2 Corinthians 8:7) and reminded them that “God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7). Giving, rightly understood, is not a tax on belonging. It is one of the joys of the Christian life.
The gifts of God’s people make possible the means of grace ministry of this congregation — the preaching of the Word and the administration of the sacraments — through which the Holy Spirit creates and sustains faith. For more than 70 years, Our Redeemer has been that place in Madison where generation after generation has come to know their Savior. Every gift, whatever its size or form, has a share in that work.
Giving Platform Migration
Our Redeemer is moving its online giving platform from Realm to Church Center. The new platform will save the congregation thousands of dollars in transaction fees each year. This migration requires all who currently give a recurring gift through Realm to set up a new recurring gift through Church Center.
