Giving MigrationOur Redeemer is moving its online giving platform from Realm to Church Center. The new platform will save the congregation thousands of dollars in transaction fees each year. This page is your guide to the migration.
for People who give electronically through realmIf you currently send a recurring offering to Our Redeemer electronically, we that you set up a new recurring gift on Church Center and cancel your previous recurring gift on Realm.
for People who give in the Offering plateIf you place your offering in the offering plate at church, there is nothing that to do at this time. In the future, we will ask that you give attention to communication about how the migration will affect the distribution of annual giving statements.
First, access Church Center
Church Center is available as both a mobile app and a website, and it provides a variety of resources to communicate what’s going on at Our Redeemer.
Mobile App — The most common way to access Church Center is through the mobile app. This involves downloading and installing an app to your mobile device, launching it, and then pointing the app to Our Redeemer. Visit orl.churchcenter.com/setup on your mobile device to get started. Or, scan the QR code on this page.
Website — If you do not want to download and install an app to your mobile device you can access everything in Church Center directly on the web. The app offers some unique features, but app and web share the same information. Navigate to orl.churchcenter.com in a web browser.
Then, set up your new recurring gift
Navigate to the giving page in Church Center, or go directly to orl.churchcenter.com/giving. Use the form to set up a new recurring gift.
Church Center provides a detailed help article with instructions on how to set up a new gift.
Note: You will need to add a funding source to your account in this process. Church Center will allow you to add a credit card as a payment method, but Our Redeemer does not accept offerings by credit card. Connect to your bank instead. Church Center uses industry-standard encryption and financial controls to protect your financial information.
Last, cancel your previous recurring gift
Sign in to Realm to access your old recurring gift. The URL is onrealm.org/orlmadison. Use the giving management tools in Realm to cancel your recurring gift.
