Launching spring 2026
Groups
A friendly church becoming a church of friends in Christ.
Groups at Our Redeemer are a simple way to grow in friendship and community in Christ through Study, Service, and Social gatherings. Join in as we gather around God’s Word, serve our neighbors, and share life together as Christ’s family.
Signups to join Groups will open in March; February is the time for people to plan to facilitate their groups.
Gather around God’s Word for discussion, spiritual growth, and encouragement in Christ.
Study Groups
Enjoy relaxed fellowship and friendship through shared activities and time together.
service Groups
Serve the church and our community together as we put the love of Jesus into practice.

Facilitating a GroupFor there to be Groups to join there need to be facilitators who form Study, Service, and Social Groups. Facilitating a Group is a straightforward process. You only need an idea and a few details to get started.
-
Decide whether your group will be a Study, Service, or Social group. Pick the type that best fits your gifts and the way you want to gather with others.
-
Choose a day, time, and location for your meetings. Homes, community spaces, or church rooms all work—meeting in person is key.
-
Think about who your group is for—anyone, a specific demographic, or a mix. Keep groups small enough for meaningful connection (around 6–12 people).
-
For Study groups, select Bible study materials with pastoral guidance. For Service or Social groups, outline your activities or service projects.
-
Give your group a clear and inviting name, and write a brief description of what participants can expect.
-
Fill out the Group Setup Form so your group can be included in the session’s promotion. This is how participants will find and join your group.
